For the Chief Musician; after the manner of Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph.
My voice is to Elohim, and I cry out, my voice is to Elohim; and He gives ear to me.
In the day of trouble I sought my Master: My hand was stretched out in the night, and they did not grow weary; My soul refused to be comforted.
I remember Elohim, then I am disturbed: I meditate, and my spirit grows faint.
Selah
You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
I have considered the days of old, The years of ancient times.
I will remember my song in the night; I meditate within my heart, and my spirit searching
Will HaShem cast off for ever, and shall He not add to approve again?
Has his lovingkindness ceased forever? Is His promise at an end l’dor vador?
Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, shut up his rachamim?
Selah.
And I said, it is my affliction; the years of the right hand of Ha`Elyon.
I will remember the deeds of Hashem; surely I will recall thy wonders of old.
I will meditate on all thy work, and talk about your mighty deeds.
Your way O Elohim is holiness: who is a great god like Elohim?
You are the God who does wonders: You declared your might among the nations.
You have with Your arm redeemed Your people, the sons of Ya’akov and Yosef.
Selah
The waters saw you, O Elohim; the waters saw You, they were afraid; the deeps also trembled:
The clouds poured out water; The skies sent out a voice: Your arrows also walked out.
The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind; The lightnings lightened the world: HaArez trembled and shook
Thy way of you is in the sea, Thy path in mighty waters, And Thy tracks have not been known.
You have led your people like a flock by the hand of Moshe and Aharon.
