A.Di Stefano: “Hand in Hand” 

INTRO:

This is a recording that I did for a good friend whom I know since childhood.
He is a great singer and he also writes his own music.
Surely he is not a great musician on instruments but the songs he writes are very nice.

May not be everyones taste but that’s the beauty in variety of music – there is definitely no music that everyone likes.
Though I played almost everything, classical music is my first choice beside some experimental progressive styles.
But Hip-Hop?
Though I can distinguish between good and bad ones but I cannot connect to any of them – just not my thing.

A few words about the production itself.
He had already a lot of the music for this Album recorded
So my part was the recording of the vocals and guitar (he hired an amazing guitar player).
As much as I remembered after the editing also the final mix. The final touch at the end we did more or less together.

For that I’ve used my first digital HDD recording system by “Spectral Synthesis” in 1993/94

For the recordings itself I used a Soundfield microphone – one of the best microphones in the world in my opinion. (guess belongs now to RODE or maybe moved again the x.th time)

I pray he will find Yeshua and write worship songs.
That would be surely amazing to see him adding more beautiful colors in the dreary world of christian worship music.

The studio there shows his small music corner at his home – whether you name it homestudio or whatever.
Just the place where he makes music every now and then.

The Music of ADS-History is not available on Pond 5.
Ii was never published as a CD but only a few copies for DEMO, so it is not available anyway.
