INTRO:

This piece of history is actually somehow a miracle
A friend from the UK came as usual for one of the Moedim (Biblical holidays) to Jerusalem.´
He is an amazing musician and songwriter – very simple songs but deep lyrics.
Now:
It was the last day, a few hours before his departure back to the UK
Well, he was a bit tired

Another brother mentioned if he would be willing to do some recordings
By that time I had my tiny studio stuff there
We arranged to get some microphones because I did not had any with me.

However, he agreed to play/ let us record a bunch of songs.

What is the miracle on that?
Surely the recording stuff I had there only because I was in transition.
but the greater miracle:
That apartment in Nachlaot was everything than quiet.
Though there was usually not too much traffic on that small road,
but constantly people passing, yelling around and a childrens playground just nearby.
The apartment everythind but noise proof.

Anyway, we did the recordings.
Though he was tired he were singing all the songs at once.
I guess only once he stopped very much at the beginning of one song.

The miracle: for one hour there was no noise outside
And this was not on a Shabat but in the middle on the week late afternoon.
The shuk (market) is just around the corner and all kind of possible noises.
But nope, nothing

The mix I did on cheap 10 or 20$ computer speakers.

But regardless of the imperfect mix, listen to the lyrics, just beautiful.

The images below are the print for the CD cover, which was a Digibook.
So the 3rd part on the right side is finally the front page.
The colors of the images below appear a bit unnatural. But this is because the color profile are CMYK for print and not RGB for screen.

If you like to get it, you need to figure out how to find him. Whether he is online somewhere or not, I don’t know.

However, you can go to the “everything-category”. May you’ll find anything to buy and by this support my work
