Message 2025/12 Moadim 5785-5786 (Month 09)
Note:
I first thought to merge this message of the Moadim with the one about the Rapture, which I might post within a week or so but finally decided it’s better to have two individual ones, even though there are some connection between them.

Beginning of Message:
In a few weeks we have the upcoming Biblical feasts, also known as Jewish holidays. And actually the first one, Yom Truah, feast of the trumpet they labeled as Rosh HaShanah, which is actually not biblical. Rosh HaShanah means, the head of the year, new year so to say. Scripture says this is month 7, so you can do the logical math on your own, how it can be the beginning of a year. If your year starts with month seven or three or fifteen, whatever, then, go ahead. However, the Jewish year turns now according to the rabbinical counting to 5786. I have my doubt this is accurate. I am very certain,we are nearly at the year 6000, but who cares with so many different calendars and anyway it’s only 204 years difference.
Okay, I know they have their explanation on it, but so they have many explanations of all their myriads of additional rules and regulations and their view about themselves, between all the Talmudic, Kabbalistic and Mish-mash-na nonsense. Anyway, there is a reason why Yeshua permanently addressed the man-made traditions of the religious elites, the Scribes and Pharisees. But until the day they realize and recognize Him as the Moshiach and the one whom they have pierced and mourn, nothing will change. Though I think Jacobs trouble is around the corner and then, sooner or later the veil might be lifted. Wondering, just how it will look like – especially afterwards… though I’m not really eager to see these days with all the troubles.
Jewish legends claims Rosh HaShanah was the day when Adam and Chavah were created, a day of judgment and coronation of G_d as king. Well, I couldn’t find the dates in scripture, but their conclusion is maybe a result of a mixture with interpretation, what Rabbi A said about a comment by Rabbi B, what great Rabbi C said about a conclusion by Rabbi D’s assessment on great Rabbi E’s view about it.
Well, it supposed to be something to celebrate or remember. Though judgment in that list doesn’t sound like a happy feast. Not enough that Chavah and Adam disobeyed and ate the forbidden fruit and were cast out of the garden, and then, not too many generations later the creator was less happy with the way mankind turned away and wiped most of it out, by the flood except eight souls. We know what happened afterwards – same business again… Okay, modern religions with all their indoctrinated theology claims the flood should be seen only metaphorical and not as a real event. But the same they claim with almost everything in scripture.
Anyway, I go with scripture and in my calculation month seven doesn’t make sense to be the beginning of the year. Well, different culture, different math… I also try to find where the bible set a date of the creation of Adam and Chavah – if you have an extended version of the scripture, let me know, perhaps there exists a version where the dates are included, maybe we find there also the name of the Antichrist and day and hour of the rapture. And, sorry; if it offends you, I have to say, if you are a gentile, a Goyim and not a officially registered rabbi, then your opinion may not be legitimate anyway in all the matters of the old covenant. Okay, the day of judgment will come, this is for sure and certainly many or most will not joyfully celebrate, but in fear and trembling have their knees turned to wax. At the end it’s anyway Yom Truah and not Rosh HaShanah…
Nevertheless, the three big feasts Yom Truah, Yom Kippur and Succoth are near and clear and according to scripture we should celebrate them, so strange it sounds. May some argue with the New Covenant these things are gone, but I assume they never made any effort to search for themselves like the Bereans, what these festivals are all about, and so on. Yeshua said that not one jot or tittle of Torah will pass until heaven and earth pass. I have not recognized that the earth passed away though it had turned into a comedy show, and common sense passed already away. So I can’t say if the feasts relate also to the new heaven and earth, but in my understanding all these things should be valid even throughout the millennial reign at least. The one thing that is definitely done away is the law of sin and death by Yeshuas death and resurrection. So no more animal sacrifices needed for the atonement of sin, period. And to keep the Moadim is not about salvation or holiness, but respect the Fathers desire to trust and obey Him, regardless of our understanding in details. And think about, most People remember their birthday, and all sort of things and every year celebrate it somehow – and consider how many pagan feast we celebrate throughout the year, every year…
But when Adonai said, remember this and remember that, everybody is not short of arguments to avoid it. Well, you may ask, but why then remembering Yom Kippur, when there are no more atonement of sin by animal sacrifices necessary? Technically it might be right, but I see it to remember how blessed we are, not have to run to the priest or to the non-existing temple over and over with some animals that they might be sacrificed, but the grace of Yeshua who sacrificed himself with his own blood, once and for all. If remembering something once a year is too much for you, I hope you remember your sins every day and see if you may find a reason to repent, and to find an excuse, once you stand before the judgment seat.
Well, for the start, Yom Truah, feast of trumpets, I have my Shofar ready and prepared, tuuuuuuuut. And it never gains much dust. Not because of the fact it’s stored in a bag, but I regularly use it. And actually, in my book there is a chapter with a bunch of stories about it (will still take a while until it get released).
After Yom Truah, the feast of the trumpets there is Yom Kippur the most impressive day of all Moadim. A day of atonement, where in old days the high priest went once a year into the holy of holiest where the ark of the covenant was placed to make atonement for the people. It’s a day to afflict our soul and do no work, which is interpreted as a dry fast, no eating and drinking for 24 hours. Though I try to keep also fasting but actually always hope it will pass by very fast. Yes, to fast one day sometimes it works, but sometimes not. If it doesn’t work out, when the body says otherwise, I don’t feel guilty, because physical well being is above it all. So let’s see how it will turn out this time. Scripture is anyway not about religion but about relationship.
When I say I celebrate the Moadim, it’s not about religion either, but of obedience, regardless your personal opinion. I surely don’t celebrate it with all the rituals. Scripture said we shall remember these things. To live in a Succah during Succoth is anyway not always possible. I have done it a couple of times, it’s very cute, very nice, very special. but as I move from place to place very often, it depends in which country. It’s definitely not pleasant to stay under a Succah for a week in a very cold and rainy place. Because the Succah according to rabbinical teaching is not a weather proof shelter – so the rain will be… not fun. I’m sure the tents back for the Israelites were rain proof. In Israel the temperature is by that time usually still pretty stable and relatively pleasant, but further north, it’s not the case anymore. I could do it sometimes in places not far from Israel, but in the location right now not necessarily possibly anymore. … which has more or less the same weather like Israel, but I am not there anymore. And if you live in a place without a safe outdoor space or no at all, the only thing you can do is to just remember how the Israelites lived in tents 40 years in the wilderness and perhaps read the story of these 40 years throughout the week. Well, personally I hope one day to settle down for a while, preferably til Yeshua returns, whether in a house, trailer or a sizable boat… And if not, well, we are anyway pilgrims in this world.
But think about: with the remembrance how they lived in tents in the wilderness it also connects somehow to the Exodus at the beginning of their journey, though this is celebrated as Pessach in springtime. And actually I wish we would already be set free from this complete sick and wicked world, the system of control, manipulation and corruption. So, not much a difference to slavery – may we can name it tax slavery or whatever.
So whether you celebrate the Moadim or not, it’s your decision. You can ask the Holy Spirit to lead you into it and tell you what to do. But why not simply remember things where scripture says to remember, instead arguing against the creator, Yeshua and the Father in heaven. There is no need to make it complicated with rabbinical doctrines and regulations. Make it simple, Remember when scripture says remember, celebrate when scripture says celebrate keep the things where it says to keep and do no regular work where it says do no work. Of course as far as possible but enjoy the Moadim with praise and thanksgiving.
But enough now, make it short… I don’t have big explanations on all the details of these Moadim. You can read about it and how the Jews celebrate it according to their traditions, which is partially actually biblical, but the best might be anyway to just ask the Holy Spirit how to do it according to His will and His ways.
