Message 2022/12 Chanukah, Christmas and a related dream

Are they biblical?
No, not really
Though both points somehow to biblical thoughts or events, but that’s it so far

Are there any commandments in scripture to keep them?
No, not one

Now, if they are not scriptural, shall we abstain from it?
As I am not a communist who wants to dictate anything on you, so I will give only my opinion on that.
At the end of the day, if you chose to celebrate the one or the other or both or “how” to celebrate is between you and Adonai.

You will reap what you sow.
The origins of Christmas you may have heard of, which is not good – the rest how many celebrate it is another pairs of shoes.
I for myself don’t celebrate any of the both.
For Christians I advice you to stay far away at least from this materialism mindset.
You may not be able to ignore it to some extend because when I go around this time, on every corner all the decorations and stuff that want to jump into the face.
Basically there is almost no way to avoid it, except to flee during that season – which would be at least for 2-3 months.
It just takes great effort to ignore.
However, personally I don’t celebrate it since many years already and I don’t miss anything.

Just a side note:
Funny to say, some Jews truly love Christmas, especially those who have a toy store.
That’s when they made the most profit…
Their argument: religion is religion and business is business…

Keep in mind when you celebrate Christmas… not only the pagan origins but it’s used to be always the day with the highest suicide rate.
With Covid it has possibly changed but as everything changed there is nothing to compare anymore.

We can remember Yeshuas birth when he came in the flesh, His death and resurrection at any day of the year, there is no need for a specific day where all the hypocrites go to church, those that you don’t see there the whole year there, but suddenly they pop up.
Maybe today not anymore, I don’t know, but at least it was the case when I was young.

There are often two pro-arguments for Christmas I hear
The one is that the people supposedly are more open for the gospel, like in a sentimental mood.
Can this be approved?

The other pro-argument that this is the time when we can meet with our family and meditate on the birth of Christ and so on.
I would say: If you are not able to come together with your family at any time of the year, then there might be rather something fundamentally wrong in your family you might better fix.
I know what I mean with that – though I had fairly good parents compared to most people I know but they were not believers, so almost nothing on that day was about the birth of the savior.
Happy for those whose family are all believers or especially born again servants.
But I think this is the minority of the population.

Yes, I understand, it is not always easy to bring all the family members together on a certain day in this hustle bustle world, but instead working and shopping on Shabat, you may keep this 4th commandment and use it as an opportunity to come together.
So, stop with your ordinary work, and then rest and yes, come together as a family and maybe also some friends and give thanks for that blessed day that is made for men.
With that you have over 50 times a chance to come together and not only once a year.

And Chanukah.
Most people and also Christians may not know at all what Chanukah is.
Roughly to say.
Chanukah commemorates the re-dedication of the Temple in Jerusalem after a group of Jewish warriors defeated the occupying mighty Greek armies.
There are many more details about it (like with the miracle of the oil), and if you are interested, just look it up through the search engine of your choice.
You will find enough information on that subject from people who explain it much better than I can do.
Shall we celebrate it?
We can, but we don’t have to, because it is not a commandment of scripture.

Oh, and something at the end:
Some point Christmas to Jeremiah 10.
Well, you can use that or not.
One thing is for sure, Yeshua was not born on the 25th of the cold winter-month that is named December.
In scripture there are anyway not many birthdays mentioned.
Two of them I can think of – and both had not a good taste.
The one was Pharaoh that did not end pleasant for the chief baker.
The other was the birthday party of Herod where I would not wonder if the dance of Herodias daughter was some kind of table dance, very close to Herod.
It did not end up well for Yochanan (John) the baptist.

Well, as Yeshuas birthday is unknown but picked by maybe a democratic vote or whatever…
So I may do the same.
May I throw away my birth certificate and anything that documented my birth and just pick a day I like.

A little while ago I received a dream that includes something surprising related to Christmas-time.
You may say this is influenced by whatever stuff during the Christmas season we are currently.
Well, it’s up to you, but listen to the dream and then you can decide.

The dream I had on month 12, day 7 and recorded it on 6:10 in the morning.

First I am going to describe the dream as best I can and then give one possible interpretation.

Beginning of Dream:

I am in the village in Germany where I grew up most the time in the former house.
There is a long story when and how I come back from another region but I can’t remember those details anymore – and this region where I came from is not in that village and probably not even Germany.

But I find myself in the garage and there, more at the right side (when looking towards the outside) maybe 1,5 meter away from the big swing door that leads outside – and this door is open.

In the middle, more towards to the left inside the garage roughly between me and the water tap which is mounted on the wall, sits a small tree, maybe 2 meters high (this tree is also around 1,5m away from the door).
I can’t say for sure if this tree was planted in the pot or not, but it seem to me it rather grows in the garage, basically out of the concrete floor.
Then there is a thunderstorm outside and a thunderbolt hits this tree.
I get down on the floor and lay down as low as possible.
The thunderbolt hits maybe 10 times and finally the tree is caught on fire.
The only way to protect myself is to lay down flat on the ground.

Then I am basically at the same spot (as I was in the garage, but now outside).
It’s almost impossible to explain and visualize that I am in the garage but at the same time outside yet on the same position.
However, towards the left, near at the entry in the front of the garage there is a small tree (there was no tree there when I used to live there in the natural, but now there is one here).

The garage leads to the road in a distance of about 8-9 meters.
And near the road from my view almost at the very left of the garden here is this triangle needle tree (which was there in the natural).
Only the birch tree (which was to the right of that needle tree) is not there anymore.

And this triangle needle tree is decorated like a Christmas tree.
As it catches fire (from nowhere suddenly) it sparkles like a new year eve firecracker – (may you know the ones that sparkles on the floor).

Somehow somewhere, like out of the ground, or out of nothing, almost everything in the garden starts to burn.
And somehow it feels to me it is Christmas season or around that time.

Now I pick up the garden hose and start trying to quench the fire, that has already spread all over the whole garden in the front of the house.

I don’t see here any other person, but somehow I know that all neighbors are watching and as much as I assume they have already called the fire department.
However, even with my small gardening hose I can keep the fire pretty much under control, even as everything already is ablaze.

But somehow it was significant important it is around Christmas time with the fire and probably the time when Yeshua will take His bride (this is what I felt in the dream).

And again, this interpretation can be one of many, don’t judge or blame it as false if you see something else in the dream.
Interpretation can have flaws and my words to explain might be even weaker, but this was thoroughly done with the help of the Holy Spirit and a dear brother.

I am back home now where I grew up and I come home after the long journey of my life.
And I am in the garage on the right side – meaning: I am in the place of home, I am looking out at the world and I am looking on the right side of reality, because I am on the right side of reality, as Adonai put me on the right place.

The tree to my left is under judgment from heaven.
Thunderbolt is judgment – The fire of Elohim is gonna hit this tree.
The tree is the tree of the world – tree in scripture can also represent people (Mark 8:24).
And I wanna get out away from this judgment by going down on the floor, as low as possible.
Not to get hit by the judgment where the tree of the world is, growing from concrete/ stone.

The thunderbolt hits 10 times which is the number of the plagues of Egypt, it’s the judgment of Elohim.
Finally the tree is caught on fire with the final plague the tree is gonna burn.
The only way to protect myself is to lay flat on the ground which means, is to be humble I have to be prostrate before Adonai, so that I won’t come under the judgment too, because I am flesh and blood and I surely deserve to be judged, so I need to get low to avoid the fire of judgment of a righteous and holy God.

To call the fire department or try to erase the fire in another way, is somehow a natural response.

The biggest question in the dream is, whether there is a time element for the rapture in this dream.
The dream itself is about judgment of Adonai.
My life is completed and I am coming back to my original birth.
The reason I am in the town of my birth. And I left on a long life journey which is not in Germany. But here I am back at home and the circle of life is closing.
And it’s coming to Christmas. Judgment is coming, it hits already close to home.

Outside and inside of the garage at the same place means I am in my body but I am also in the spirit. In Two places at once, in the world and in the Spirit. The Spirit is out of the garage but the body and soul is in the garage.
I try to stop the Judgment and to avoid the ten fold judgment of Elohim by being humble on the ground.
When everything then starts burning which is a prophetic picture of judgment falling upon the world.
I try to protect what’s left of the earthly natural life.
I am able to do it to some extend but it still burns.
To keep a fire under control, spiritually speaking it could mean by prayer but I can’t put it out and suddenly I get the revelation, it’s the time of the rapture.

Note:
Okay, with that coming rapture, if this will be this year, then we are talking about in one or two weeks.
Which means: time’s up, it’s done, we are outta here – basically done, the world is over.
And it this is true, then it ‘s hard to understand other prophetic words, going out to the harvest, being a messenger of the word of Elohim.
Yet it can be this is not around this Christmas but can be next year or another time.

In any case: we shall be on alert that something is coming, something very significant.
May it will be the revelation of Yeshuas incarnation in some ways – or some fires of different types.
May we will see things, never seen before.
Time will tell.
