A Name is a Name
Banana-Praise Chapter two – live, June 11 , 2016: Song 3: “A Name is a Name”
Is a name only a name? – What name I am speaking about?
When reading the O.T. in the Hebrew I can see all over written so clearly about the Savior and Mashiach.
But he seems to disconnect somehow in the N.T. in the full meaning.
However, He is a Hebrew and a Jew.
But always the same question rise up in me in meaning and identity from a Hebrew mindset:
Besides all theological disputes the question is: Why was the name of the savior changed so much in the Greek N.T.
(And He is all over in the O.T.)
But on the other hand the name of the devil, the accuser and liar was kept in the N.T. exactly with his Hebrew name as it was written in the O.T. except just typed in Greek letters.
Though people in some countries might struggle with pronunciation but why not trying.
My name remain in every country of this world the same.
Yes, in some countries people struggle to pronounce my name properly.
But it usually takes them only some minutes until they get it fairly well.
So why is the Saviors name in almost all language very different and people don’t even ask WHY?
How can we figure out what is the Name of the Messiah, which is the “Name above all Names”?
May the Holy Spirit helps you to find the true Name that is above all other names.
So, for that reason I wrote a song with a lot of questions…
The modification from a whole-band song to a guitar version went pretty well with this song.
This and the Studio-Version you’ll find in the “One Name One Truth” album
